When to Consider Visiting Our Wound Care Clinic:
- Wound that has not healed in more than 30 days
- Diabetic foot ulcer
- Wound with increasing pain, redness, foul odor or swelling
- Non healing wounds
What to Expect During Your Visit:
- Initial phone call to discuss your overall health and wound care needs.
- Review of your medical history for better understanding of your health.
- On-site lab for blood work and/or wound cultures to evaluate for infections.
- Referrals to specialists such as endocrinologists, infectious disease specialists, or vascular experts based on your specific needs and hindrances to wound healing.
